Services of General Interest Consultant

MES ENERGY SA helps its customers in Greece to manage the services of general interest (SGI) necessary for their business, such as power supply, gas supply, water supply and supply of telephony and Internet in the most efficient manner.

As an independent organization from SGI providers, we are able to evaluate and combine the opportunities provided by competitive providers (where applicable) and our special expertise in energy invoices issues for large facilities in order to choose the best option, saving our customers’ money.

Our company provides SGI services consultancy (Energy & Telecommunication Consultant) within a Baseline Bonus Based (BBB) contract. Which means that the company provides its services for a part of the savings enjoyed by the customer in relation to an agreed baseline situation, measured per agreed period (year or quarter).

The cooperation procedure shall be as follows:

  • Step 1

    Delegation of authority to the SGI consultant with the signature of BBB contract and approval of access to the necessary information.

  • Step 2

    Periodical (6 or 12 months) saving measures proposal by SGI that is prepared by the consultant.

  • Step 3

    Implementation of measures by the Client.

  • Step 4

    Compare SGI costs with those of pre-agreed Baseline.

  • Step 5

    SGI Consultant period remuneration calculation.

SGI Consultant Services include:

Electricity

  • Periodical selection / change of electricity provider based on competition opportunities
  • MWh pricing agreement according to energy profile requested by the consultant
  • Integrating clients into groups to negotiate with energy providers
  • Preparing energy handbook on savings

Natural Gas

  • Selection of the appropriate invoices per billing category (air conditioning, use etc) after clarifying consumptions
  • Negotiation on existing contracts based on updated measurements and type of consumptions
  • Customer Integration into negotiation groups with gas providers
  • Preparing energy handbook on savings

Water

  • Selection of the appropriate invoices after clarifying consumptions
  • Negotiation on existing contracts based on updated measurements
  • Preparing energy handbook on savings

Telecommunication

  • Periodical selection / change of telephone & internet provider based on competition opportunities
